FAQs

Q: What should I bring with my dog?
A: BOARDING: We recommend bringing food, but other than that we provide everything. You don’t need to bring blankets, toys, bowls or any other supplies.

A: DAYCARE: Just bring your pup and vet records the first day.

Q: Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
A: Yes. We require a current rabies vaccine, bordetella and distemper, as well as a parasite-negative fecal test result. We must have a current vaccine report from your vet on your pup’s first day at Grandma’s.

Q: What happens in case of an emergency?
A: DAYCARE & BOARDING: We will call you to consult on next steps. We will take him/her to the closest vet.

Q: My dog is on medication. Can you medicate him?
A: Yes! We will be able to medicate your pets. Please bring all medications in the original bottle from your vet or pharmacy with the dosage instructions on the label. There will be an extra charge for medication dispensing.

Q: Can you groom my dog?
A: We partner with a local groomer to have grooming done during a daycare or boarding stay.

Q: Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?
A: We require that all dogs over the age of 6 months be spayed or neutered.

Q: Do you accept all breeds of dogs?
A: We do have a few breed restrictions. Please call us for more information at 412-586-7094.
